R718F2 utilizes two reed switches to detect whether two objects are separated or not. An example of R718F’s application is to detect the state of a door or window for security purposes. It is based on SX1276 wireless communication module, and the communication is fully compatible with LoRaWAN™ Protocol (Class A).

The reed switch is on (conducting) within the magnetic range, and is off (non-conducting) when it's out of the magnetic range. The module can detect the closing and opening signals so that the state of the door window status can be detected.
